Following a hike in DA for the Central government employees,Tamil Nadu CM Ms. J. Jayalalithaa on recently announced a 10 % hike in DA for government employees, teachers, pensioners and family pensioners.
The hike would be calculated from July 1, 2013 and would be given in cash, she said.
The hike will also be applicable to officers, teachers, village assistants in revenue department, anganwadi workers & village panchayat assistants.
