A delegation from Confederation of Real Estate
Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) Pune Metro met Maharashtra Chief
Minister Mr. Prithviraj Chavan last week in Mumbai & urged him to consider
the submitted memorandum which lists issues pertaining to expanding Pune region.
The CM Mr. Prithviraj Chavan approved the draft
on development rules outlined for the A, B, C class of municipal councils. The
parking policy for Pune Municipal Corporation areas was also given its final
approval. Mr. Prithviraj Chavan assured that notifications regarding these 2
approvals would be issued, stated a CREDAI press release.
The delegation comprised representatives of
CREDAI Pune Metro, including president Mr. Hemant Naiknavre, former president
Mr. Satish Magar (currently president Credai Maharashtra), other office bearers
& managing committee members.
Senior officers from the ministries of Housing,
Environment, Urban Development, CM Secretariat & Director Town Planning
also attended the meeting.
Mr. Naiknavre submitted the proposal of the
Rental Housing Scheme which involves providing affordable housing to migrants
with the aim of slum prevention.
