According to early folklore, wind chimes were once hung over doorways to keep evil spirits at bay.

Metal is the most common &  has a sharp tenor.

Different materials and combinations of metal with differing lengths of tubes create different sounds. Ceramics & glass produce a range of tones based on the size of the chimes, their density, and the flexibility of their composition.

Bamboo wind chimes produce a gentle, brushing sound as they move against each other, replicating the natural sounds of bamboo in the wild, twisting in the wind.

Wind chimes are not just available in basic shapes like
tubes,
squares,
circles,or
diamonds.

But, also in interesting and decorative styles such as the harp,a chandelier,bells,etc.Many have interesting motifs at the top such as butterflies,hummingbirds,fish,stars,the moon and fairies.

The gentle tinkling of a wind chime can be very soothing as you rest or work in your garden. These days, wind chimes come in different varieties &  styles that you can take a pick from -

and simple.


Wind chimes hung on a distinctive hanger in the patio can be enjoyed indoors as well as outdoors.
