SEBI Tells Firms: Inform Investors About Acconut Re - Statement..!

 Seeking to push firms to act on issues flagged by their auditors, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on recently asked them to immediately inform investors about any restatement of their books of accounts necessitated by points raised by the audit process.


The latest direction follows SEBI's guidelines in August 2012 , wherein the listed firms were asked to provide details of the issues red-flagged by auditors.
