portal, has raised $ 2.5 million (= $ 25
lac = Rs. 13.75 crore) venture capital
funding from Nexus Venture Partners.
The search portal has revolutionized house hunting
through its unique & exceptional user interface which empowers users with
the ability to view a house without necessitating physical presence.
Formed by a group of IITians 11 months back, Housing.co.in
will used the funds to aggressively expand its technology and data sciences
teams with over 30 plus IITians in these teams.
Housing is perceived as a unique portal thanks to its
outstanding UI & interface. But it is real strength lies in its data &
since its inception the firm has been very obsessed with its data approach.
The Data Science Lab to develop features such as Area
based pricing, society ratings etc...! .
The firm is also building a large headquarter only for
the technology team which will be one of the major investment.
