After Reserve Bank of India (RBI) heightened individuals limit to remit
money overseas from US Dollar 50,000 per year to US D 2,00,000 more & more
high networth individuals (HNI) are looking to invest in properties overseas.
Independent property consultant, Knight Frank said,'' The queries have
gone up from 4 in 2011 to 20% per month.
Indian's are now among the top 10 buyers of residential real estate in central
London and occupied over 2% of such new properties in London in 2012.
Ms. Mona Jalota, head - International Project Marketing, Knight Frank
India also said, ''This is the best time to invest in an overseas property. The
slump in the market is special & investors should make use of such
opportunities & try and purchase a property in overseas market"
