CREDAI New Team: Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain,Chairman, Mr. C. Sekhar Reddy National President..!

India's real estate apex body - The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) had elected its new team with Mr.C. Sekhar Reddy as its national president.

The team announced recently comprises Mr.Jaxay Shah, Mr. Satish Magar, Mr.Sushil Mantri, Mr. Sanjeev Srivastava, Mr.Harsh Vardhan Patodia, Mr.Vijay Mirchandani and Mr. Shekhar G Patel.

The newly elected leadership of realtors’ apex body plans to embark on a multi-pronged agenda to work closely with government with a focus on affordable housing, green buildings and water harvesting & skill development among construction workers.

Mr. Lalit Kumar Jain, newly elected chairman of CREDAI. “The task force report on affordable housing is already with the government and we will impress upon the concerned departments to facilitate its implementation to ensure that the millions of homeless fulfil their dreams of owning a house”

Mr. Sekhar Reddy said, The apex body would also campaign with the Finance Ministry and RBI (Reserve Bank of India) for reducing the risk weightage given for funding the real estate projects. The current negative approach was helping neither the banks nor developers".

The Union Minister of Housing and Poverty Alleviation, Mr. Ajay Maken unveiled the first ever coffee table book on real estate at a function where the new managing committee took charge.

CREDAI with more than 10,000 members across 20 cities also announced the setting up of its Youth Wing reflecting the increasing number of young and qualified entrepreneurs joining the profession.

The youth wing comprises Mr. Viny Raj Modi (chief co - ordinator), Mr.Dipesh Bhagtani (additional chief coordinator) and zonal coordinators including  Mr. Mohit Goel (North),  Mr. Ms. Kruti Kumar (West),  Mr. Sarad Baid (East),  Mr. Siddharth Menda (South) and  Mr.Deepak Agarwal (Centre), according to a press release.
