The
Builders’ Association of India (BAI) has brought out a journal ‘Builders’
Association of India Construction Equipment & Building Material Journal’
which was launched by AP Chief Minister Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy in Hyderabad.
Mr.
B. Seenaiah, President, BAI said, ''The newly launched journal will act as a
much needed bridge between the infrastructure conglomerates & the regional
players.
“It
will also serve as a platform for vendors of construction equipment & material, to showcase their products. The
journal will also be a window to the latest events in the construction industry
and will provide vital information on the current affairs in the infra arena”
Mr. B. Seenaiah said.
The multi-colour magazine with a rich look with will be distributed to all its members at a nominal cost & will be available for a cost of Rs.100 for non-members.
To start with 15,000 copies of the Journal are printed this month. The Journal will reach people across the length and breadth of the country and is specially targeted for people in construction & allied industries, informed Mr. Seenaiah.
BAI is the spokeperson for construction industry which takes up its members concerns and grievances to the State / Central Government.
Apart from its direct members, it has more than 50,000 business houses, through its 67 plus affiliated associations as indirect members.
Construction is one of the most important economic activity contributing maximum GDP Growth. It is the second largest employer after the agricultural sector. It has forward and backward link with more than 250 allied industries and employs more than 3.5 crore workers.
The Journal will be an ideal platform to reach the specific audience of people in construction and allied industries. Right from cement manufacturers to manufacturers and vendors of tiles, bathroom fittings, sanitary ware, hardware, steel, paints, electrical fittings and accessories & others can showcase their products through the journal.
