The CMDA will begin to identify unauthorised buildings
in Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) areas.
A 500 metre strip
stretching 55 km between Ennore and
Uthandi is under the scanner, as are strips near the Adyar and Cooum rivers.
All structures in
these areas will be regulated after April, 2013.
