Entrepreneurs now have a chance to bag some funding. The Chennai chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) is partnering with The Indian Angels Network to host Power PitchFest – a one day programme for entrepreneurs to present their business ideas to angel investors, private equity firms, and high net worth individuals to get funding & mentoring support.

The Indus Entrepreneurs is a global not-for-profit association to foster entrepreneurship. The shortlisted entrepreneurs will also be evaluated by The Indian Angels Network, a business angel group, for its incubation services.
Power PitchFest is organised as part of TiECON Chennai 2012, a conference for entrepreneurs in the city. TiECON is expected to be attended by above 1,200 business leaders, entrepreneurs, & investors. The PitchFest will happen on December 3, 2012 a day before TiECON.
Entrepreneurs interested in the Power PitchFest can submit their online application on or / before November 11. 2012. The application form is available on http://tiecon.tiechennai.org
Some of the angel investing, venture capital, and private equity firms that have participated in earlier editions of Power PitchFest are Chennai Angels, Aavishkar, Atlas Advisory, Canaan Partners, Clearstone, IDG Ventures, Indian Angels Network, Inventus Capital, Mumbai Angels, Nexus, Ojas, Seedfund, Sequoia Capital, SONG, VenturEast, and Vertex etc..!.
