India's 11 cement
makers, whom the fair trade regulator CCI (competition commission of India) has
found guilty of adopting anti-competitive practices, on recenlty approached
competition appellate tribunal (COMPAT) challenging its July 30, 2012 findings.
COMPAT issued notices
to the CCI & listed the matter for next hearing on November 22, 2012.
The COMPAT bench is
headed by its Chairman justice Mr. V.S. Sirpurkar.
