The Tamil Nadu State Government celebrate November 1 as
Local Administration Day.
The Rural Department & Local Bodies would chalk out special
programmes,
organise competitions for school students.
Celebrated in Panchayats..!
Local Administration Day will be celebrated in
panchayats, panchayat unions, town
panchayats, municipality and district panchayat on November 1.
Awareness rallies & seminars will be conducted on the
day.
The events would focus on activities and performance of
local bodies and create awareness of welfare schemes being implemented for the
people. The local bodies would also bring out wall posters & banners on
their performance.
