SPTD is a nanotechnology based additive for making any water
based emulsion paint water repelling & heat resistant. It also protects
against mould growth.
SPTD works on the principle of not only reflection of
thermal radiation, but also resists heat transfer. The reflection of thermal
radiation (infrared region of light) is around 92 per cent.
The thermal conductivity is reduced by at least four times
(heat transfer). Hence this double action reduces the heat inside the building
/ or factory. Also SPTD is water repellent.
In this manner you enjoy increased energy efficiency, a reduced carbon
dioxide footprint and a comfortable environment.
For example, the surface temperature of a terrace (Clay
tiles) at peak summer will be in the range of 60 to 65 degrees centigrade. When
SPTD is applied with White emulsion paint, the surface temperature will be
about 40 to 44 degrees centigrade. When SPTD is applied with coloured emulsion
paint the surface temperature will be 50 to 55 degrees centigrade.
SPTD is a green, water based product with no dangerous
ingredients. The VOC of SPTD is very low( 4g / l) with respect to EU limits(
30g / l) itself.
The application areas are:
^ Factory
shed asbestos sheet
^ Residential
or / commercial terraces
^ Outer or /
exterior walls of buildings /or factories
For metal roofs, storage tanks etc, we have SURFAPORE METAL
THEMODRY.
Mixing Procedure..!:
Mix ten litres of any water based emulsion paint ( like
Asian paints Ace / or Apex / or Premium etc) with six litres of SPTD. First
stir / mix SPTD well first till it becomes homogeneous and then mix it with the
emulsion paint. Add water for suitable brushing.
Application Procedure:
Clean the surface thoroughly. Apply first coat of the SPTD /
or emulsion paint mix. After complete drying of the first coat, apply the
second coat.
