Reliance Mutual Fund is awaiting the SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) approval for its proposed pension scheme Reliance Retirement Fund.

In the US, pension products sold by mutual funds have covered about 30% of the household.
SEBI is also working with the central government to get the regulations amended so that mutual funds can launch pension schemes that gets tax exemption much on the line of insurance companies
I think soon we will have more fund organizers coming up with similar funds. Pension funds are really doing great job as most of young investors securing their retirement by investing in such funds.
