Mr. V. Manickam, Ex- Managing Director & CEO, LIC Pension Fund took charge as the Secretary General of Life Insurance Council recently.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, having more than 29 years of service in Insurance and Pension Industry, had been appointed by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority, Hyderabad recently.
Mr. S. B. Mathur, outgoing Secretary General handed over the charge to Mr. V Manickam recently.
Mr.V.Manickam started his career in LIC of India from Nagpur. He has worked in various places across India in various capacities notable being Executive Director Investments (M & A), Addl. ED Investments, Chief Investment, SDM Chennai I & II , DM Vellore division & Marketing Manager Rajamundry.
Mr. V. Manickam is known for his innovative style of functioning in Investments, Marketing and Administration of both Insurance and Pension industry.
