Collection of Property Tax: TMB Signed MOU with Chennai Corporation

The Premier old Private Sector Scheduled Commercial Bank, Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB)had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chennai Corporation for collection of Property Tax – walk in payment system on recently at Chennai.

MOU exchanged  between Worshipful Chennai Mayor Mr..Saidai Duraisamy and Mr.S.Selvan Rajadurai, General Manager (Business Development) TMB .


On this occasion Commissioner Dr. D. Karthikeyan, Additional Commissioner  Mr.C.Vijayakumar, Mr. V.S.Sooriyan, DGM (Marketing), Mr. Raveendran, Chennai Regional Manager,  Mr. Venkatesan, DGM (IT)and Mr..N.Solomon Jebakumar,AGM, GT  branch also attended the function.

By this agreement, Chennai citizens can remit Chennai Corporation Property Tax through
any of  Chennai branches directly. Non customers of TMB also can avail this facility. This
system will came into force from 1st week of October 2012.
