India's and Asia's premier stock exchange BSE on recently announced suspending trading in securities of 21 companies effective October 11, 2012 for non-compliance of various clauses of the listing agreement.
The BSE exchange said in a statement that if these companies comply with the provisions of the Listing Agreement before October 3, 2012 trading in their securities would be suspended only for 5 trading days upto October 17, 2012.
However, if they do not, the suspension will continue till such time the company complies with the procedure prescribed for revoking suspension in a scrip, it said.
The companies facing suspension include, AGS Infotech, Bala Techno, Boston Bio Systems, Chisel & Hammer, Cybermate Infotek, Dolphin Medical Services, Heera Ispat, Rajath Finance, Ras Extrusions, Ras Propack Lamipack, Rashel Agrotech, Sangal Papers, Sapan Chemicals, Shiva Cement, Shri Gang Industries & Allied Products, Titan Trading & Agencies, Vax Housing Finance Corporation, James Hotels, Nexxoft Infotel, Pearl Engineering Polymers and Venus Sugar, according to the press release.
