Chennai based two entrepreneurs Mr. Ashwin Kumar,Mr. Bharat Somani announced the launch of their new venture in Chennai. The company will offer services for the residents in the travel & commuting space across the Chennai City.
Hon’ble Mayor Mr. Saidai Duraisamy, Chennai Corporation inaugurated the new venuture in the presence of Mr. S Rajendran, Assistant Director General of Police - State Traffic Planning & Mr. G Mohan – MD, SETC. On this occasion the entrepreneurs shared details on their new venture and serving customers and services of the company
Chennai based startup, vTel Details, owned by young entrepreneurs, Mr. Ashwin Kumar and Mr. Bharat Somani, announced the launch of brand “routes”, a travel service for the Chennai city’s and state’s residents. This exclusive& constantly updated service provides information on directions, different routes, traffic density besides bus & train ticketing details.
Residents or Commuters using public transport can call on 86 95 95 95 95 to get the required information in the travel and commuting space.
Routes will provide to its callers, who are seeking for information on the bus & train services the required inputs in real time.
While, similar information is available on the web, albeit many being wrong or outdated, are not totally utilized with only 4.8 Crore logging on to the internet at least once in a day, compared to a whopping 90 crore mobile phone users in India. ‘routes’ successfully launched its pilot project in Chennai & will soon expand its operations to other cities across Tamil Nadu.
Additional features have been added to the pilot project tweaking the menu further to offer inter-city information (to and from any city in Tamil Nadu) on ticket availability, seating and fares for buses, trains and flights as well.
