In a bid to help insurance users compare the products of various insurers,the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) has introduced an online application that enables the user to compare coverage,exclusions,etc.
The facility is available through a link on its portal www.Irda.gov.in and allows users to browse through the different features of the products.
A user can select the product segment (fire,motor,engineering,etc),and based on the business selected, he / she is provided with a list of insurance companies which have approved products in the market.
