April - June 2012 : How Much Housing Prices Rise ?


NHB 'RESIDEX' tracks the movement in prices of residential properties on a quarterly basis since 2007. The NHB RESIDEX now covers 20 cities.

Residential housing prices in 16 cities have shown rise in prices in this quarter ended June, 2012 over the previous quarter ended March, 2012.

Pune :  10.5%

Bengaluru :  8.7%

Patna :    8.6%

Ahmedabad :  6.4%

Ludhiana:    5.3%

Lucknow :   4.1% 

Mumbai :    3.7%,

Delhi :     2.6%

Kolkatta :  2.6%

Bhubaneshwar : 1.7%

Bhopal 1.7%

Chennai : 1.7%

Surat: 1.2%

Guwahati :  1.2%

Vijaywada : 1.1%

 Kochi :  1.1%

Housing price down by..!

Jaipur :  - 2.6%

Indore :    2.4%

Hyderabad:  1%.

Prices in Faridabad remained stable.
