Real Estate Price Trend : Bengaluru City From 2007 to 2012, March

Residex BENGALURU City

The National Housing Bank's (NHBs) property price index, Residex, for the January to March 2012 quarter shows a mixed trend with 5 cities showing a rise and 10 recording a decline.
A key feature of the latest Residex is that five more cities have been covered by India's first& only residential property price index, taking the total to 20. The new cities are Indore, Vijayawada, Ludhiana, Bhubaneswar & Guwahati.

The index for the quarter January to March 2012 has witnessed moderation / stable property prices in a majority of the cities over the previous quarter, except in Jaipur &  Hyderabad, which have witnessed significant increase.

Bangaluru City witnessed significant corrections.
