The property buyers and Investors have decided to move the Punjab & Haryana HC (High Court) against AJS Builders Pvt Ltd after the DTCP (Department of town and country planning) cancelled the builder’s licence recently week.

AJS Builders had launched its Gurgaon-based project, Hill View Apartment, at Sector 62 in 2007, which had about 500 takes.
As many as about 150 buyers have formed a group to obtain lawful compensation from the builder & are also pursuing the issue with the DG-DTCP (Department of town and country planning).
The firm has various projects coming up at Ganaur (Haryana), Indirapuram, Noida, Kaushambi (Uttar Pradesh) & Derrabassi (Punjab).
Mr. RK Singh, Senior town planner, Gurgaon said, "The builder applied for licence after starting work at the project site. An inquiry is underway to look into all 5 projects of AJS Builders. Meanwhile, we have taken steps to tighten the noose around the builder"
The property buyers and Investors were already up in arms against the AJS Builders for slow progress at the construction site.
Work at the construction site has barely been completed at plinth level.
The firm has collected money from buyers. but not started construction. AJS has contravened provisions of Haryana Act No. 8 of 1975 and conditions of licence No. 80/2008 against developing group housing projects. The firm has not even obtained building plan approval.
Mr. Madhu Singh, MD, AJS Builders Pvt Ltd, could not be reached despite many attempts.
