Andhra Pradesh : 42% households have only one room

According to the house-listing and housing census, Nearly 42% of total households in Andhra Pradesh have just one room, .

 Mrs. Y.V. Anuradha, Director, Census Operations, Andhra Pradesh said, ''Nellore, Prakasam &  Guntur districts top the list in this category. Out of a total 2.1 lakh houses, 34.8% had 2 rooms while 13.4% have 3 or 4 rooms"

The State capital and Rangareddy districts have the highest number of houses in this category.
