L&T : New MD Mr. K Venkataramanan

Mr. K .Venkataramanan

India's engineering giant L & T (Larsen & Toubro) will have a new CEO and MD from April 1, 2012 with the elevation of whole time director Mr. K .Venkataramanan to the post.

L & T  has opted to bifurcate the role of CMD into 2 positions and the present incumbent Mr. A.M. Naik would continue as executive chairman of the Group for 5 years (till the year  2017).

While Mr. K. Venkataramanan as CEO and MD would be responsible for the businesses of the company, Naik would focus on completing the portfolio restructuring, institutionalising the IC structure, mentoring &  developing the leadership team and future leaders to face the global challenges.
