BSE Institute signs MoU with Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

BSE Institute Ltd. (BIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) Mumbai, India and the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Frankfurt, Germany signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing ceremony took place at the Frankfurt School’s campus in Frankfurt, Germany.

Professional education in capital markets..!

The MoU was signed between Mr. Ambarish Datta, MD & CEO of BSE Institute Ltd., and Ingolf Jungmann, Managing Director & Vice President of the Frankfurt School. Both institutions appreciate each other’s objectives in promoting excellence in professional education in the field of capital and financial markets.

They have agreed to enter into this agreement for mutual benefit and advantage. The aim of the MoU is to conduct joint training programs in financial markets in both Germany and India.

The scope of the MoU is as follows:


 The parties agree to provide a framework and to cooperate in planning and developing relevant activities for the successful implementation of projects including, but not limited, to activities stated as under:

* Launching of joint Certification Programs / Post Graduate Programs (e.g. Certificate Programs / Post Graduate in Quantitative Finance – 6 months to 1 year duration).

*  Study missions / visits to Frankfurt (For Indian professionals and BSE’s current MBA / Global Finance Management Program (GFMP) students), planned to start in September 2012.

 * Launching of joint programs for Senior Executives in India. These are planned as Management Development Programs (MDP) with duration of 1 to 2 days. The Frankfurt School may also use (BIL’s) training facilities to organize independent training programs.

 * Student exchange &  internship opportunities for FS students to come to India and vice-versa.

* The above projects are to be specified and executed on a project-to-project basis in separate project agreements, based on mutual consent and on the deliverables, and are subject to the parties’ respective corporate approvals.

 Mr.  Ingolf Jungmann, MD & VP of the Frankfurt School, Germany said, “ International student exchange and international management education are key to foster mutual understanding.
