according to Mr N. Nandakumar, Secretary, Chennai chapter,CREDAI , The Confederation of Real Estate Developer's Association of India (CREDAI) and the Ministry of Consumer Affairs are exploring the option of making the industry body a first line of call in dispute redressal.

Mr. Nandakumar said , ''By March (2012) end all the State level chapters of CREDAI will have a redressal forum and it is looking at setting up regional and national level committees. The Ministry of Consumer Affairs & CREDAI will work on a consumer awareness campaign that will highlight CREDAI's dispute redressal mechanism. A meeting is planned with the CREDAI and the authorities concerned"
