UltraTech Cement has posted a 93% rise in net profit at Rs. 617 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 as compared to Rs. 319 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
Total income has increased to Rs. 4,727 crore in the quarter under review from Rs. 3,776 crore in the year ago period.
Net sales of UltraTech stood at Rs 4,572 crore in the October-December quarter compared to Rs 3,715 crore in the same period last year.
