Worlds Internet giant Google climbed 3 spots in the list and was ranked No. 1 in the magazine's 2012 '100 Best Companies to Work For' list.
According to the magazine Fortune, "Everything was up at Google last year - revenue, profits, share price, paid search clicks, hiring - and so, too, was employee love,"
Employees at Google "rave about their mission, the culture and the famous perks of the Plex: bocce courts, a bowling alley, eyebrow shaping ) in the New York office. Then there's the food: some 25 cafes company wide, all gratis."
In the second place was global consulting giant Boston Consulting Group. Fortune said the company invests 100 plus hours and thousands of dollars to recruit each consultant and once hired, they earn an average of USD 1.39 lKH a year.
Other notable companies in the list are Mercedes Benz US (12), DreamWorks Animation (14), Goldman Sachs (33), Adobe (65), Intel (46), Starbucks (73) & Microsoft (76).
