Ahmadabad-based real estate company JP Iscon Group, specialising in plaza construction. It now also in the premium residential space, is constructing a 3 storeyed medical plaza in the town of Deesa, headquarters of Banaskantha district in North Gujarat, bordering Rajasthan.
Mr. Jatin Gupta, MD,JP Iscon Group said, “With this thought and inputs from various doctors across the town, we decided to launch a one-stop medical centre for all patients, as also the professionals and the corporates. The medical plaza will provide medical facilities to people in the two neighbouring states at affordable prices. Christened ‘Iscon Pride', it is one of India's first medical plazas. JP Iscon plans to extend this across other cities too"
JP Iscon group planned to build the medical plaza, about 1.5 lakh sq.ft, the specialty medical plaza is being developed at a project cost of Rs. 70 crore. It is expected to open next year (2012). Space in the medical plaza will be sold to doctors, chemists, and pathological and diagnostic laboratories, clinics & others working in the hospital and medical sectors.
The medical plaza boasts of facilities like a common operation theatre for doctors of various disciplines, 24x7 ambulance service, high-speed elevators and stretcher lifts, 24x7 chemist shops, common cafeteria and restaurant, rest areas for members of the patients and other facilities.
