About half of the 9.30 lakh under construction residential units in India, scheduled for delivery between 2011 and 2013, are likely to be delayed by up to 18 months. Main Reason is, a lot of Departments of Monitors and Regulators control Indian Real Estate sector.

According to Mr. T. Chitty Babu, Chairman and CEO,  Akshaya Homes in Chennai, said, ‘’ There are about 50 Departments related to the Big apartments projects in India”

One interesting thing is, also get approvals from like CBI, CCI (Competition Commission of India) and Insurance Companies.
