Post Graduate Diploma in Stock Markets (PGDSM) Program is a comprehensive course launched by BSE Training Institute in collaboration with IGNOU.
PGDSM program is aimed at preparing students for a lucrative career within the stock market. This program has been designed to add weightage in the form of a specialization to the aspirant’s existing qualification to help them acquire qualification in professions related to the stock market.
During the course of PGDSM program, students not only study about the share markets, but also cover various general management subjects. The purpose of the program is to ensure that the students can attain domain knowledge as well as understand the working model of a financial institution and utilize the knowledge for the best results!
This PGDSM is meant for graduates looking for a professional program in distance education mode, mainly for executives working in the share market seeking a sector specific education qualification. The Duration of the Program is one Year of Distance Education, which will comprise of two semesters.
Semester 1 would cover topics such as Management Functions and Behavior, Economic And Social Environment, Quantitative Analysis for Managerial Application, Capital Markets and Economics for the Financial Markets.
The second semester of the program would cover topics such as Corporate Finance, Derivatives, Debt markets, Forex markets, Fundamental and Technical Analysis as well as International Stock Markets Dynamics.
This program involves Contact Sessions, Video Based Expert Lecture Series, Simulation Based Training, Career Guidance, 1 Week International visit for students, Industry internship, Industry visits, Eligibility to Alumni membership subject to seat availability and additional fees (wherever applicable).
The PGDSM program consists of two terms - end examinations and a project. On successful completion of both exams and project, students will receive the Post Graduate Diploma in Stock Markets jointly from BSE Institute Limited and (IGNOU)
Quarterly Contact Sessions shall also be provided at various locations with prior communication to enrolled students. The Last date for receiving applications for the PGDSM course is 20th December, 2011.
