Kolkata based Prayag group is now well set to put up what the group claims to be the largest integrated film city at Chandrakona in East Medinipur district of West Bengal. The integrated film city spread over 2,700 acre will also tap the big fat Indian wedding, tourism and large corporate conference to ensure speedy and high return on investment. For film city Prayag group, all land bought from private parties.
Mr. Mamta Binani,.Chairman, Prayag Film City Advisory Committee said, “The total project would be completed in phased manner. The first phase would be over by the end of the 2011. Construction work of the film city is already in full swing.""
The project is being carefully designed by the famed Bollywood Art Director Nitish Roy. He said,'' The sprawling compound will have as many as 110 architectural wonders of the world, studio floors, set locations-indoor and outdoor, pre and post production setup, landscapes and gardens, preview theatre, thematic water parks budget hotels and dormitories, food courts and fine dining restaurants, star hotel”
