More than 500 real-estate projects worth over Rs 3,000 crore will be on display at a property show organised by GIHED (Gujarat Institute of Housing and Estate Developers ). ]
This is the seventh edition of show. The 3 day annual event will start from September 30, 2011 Tomorrow (Friday ) at Ganesh Housing ground in Thaltej.
About 80 real estate developers will showcase their schemes in the show. Of the total projects to be displayed at the event, 60% are residential.
Flats starting from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 3 crore will be showcased at the event. Ongoing and upcoming projects like commercial property, malls, plotting schemes, row houses and bungalow schemes in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar will also be displayed.
Major Developers said "The city needs 1,30,000 houses, against which only 20,000-22,000 houses are available. In order to meet the demand, approximately 35,000 houses are being built per annum. Still there is huge demand-supply gap."
