Singapore based serviced residence owner and operator The Ascott plans to open 1,400 apartments in India in the next couple of years.
The Ascott announced the opening of nearly 300 serviced apartments across two properties in Bangalore and Chennai.
Mr. Ronald Tay, chief investment officer, Ascott said, “Currently we have 5 other properties with over 1,100 apartments under development in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. Together the 7 properties in India will cost more than Rs 1,125 crore when fully developed. Besides increasing presence in these four cities, we plans to expand into New Delhi, Mumbai and Pune. Our target is to grow to 4,000 serviced apartments in India by 2015.""
Bangalore property >>>>! Citadines Richmond Bangalore - It has about 95 serviced apartments offering studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments measuring 300 sq ft to 965 sq ft. The rates vary from Rs 5,500 to Rs 14,000 per day.
Chennai property >>>! Somerset Greenways Chennai - It has about 190 apartments -studio, 1, 2, 3 bedroom - measuring 430 sq ft to 4,000 sq ft and priced between Rs 8,500 and Rs 25,000 per day.
