The process is very simple. For this purpose, you have to register yourself as a client with a member of National Spot Exchange. You are also required to open a demat account with any DP empanelled with NSEL Then, you can participate in these contracts either by making telephone calls to your broker or directly through online trading terminals.
What are the timings for trading in dematted commodities on NSEL platform?
Trading in E-Gold as well as other contracts are available Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm.
Can take physical delivery of goods against surrender of Demat units?
Yes. You can take physical delivery of goods against surrender of demat units at any point of time. The delivery locations and procedure related to physical delivery is specified in respective product note.
